The Knit & Stitch Shoppe first opened its doors in Lynn Valley on May 31, 1971. Its founder, Edith Mutsaerts, was inspired to bring the finest hand-knitting materials and styles from her homeland of Austria to Vancouver’s North Shore.

Nearly five decades later, under the leadership of Edith’s daughter Ingrid, The Knit & Stitch Shoppe continues to thrive. Located in the Grand Blvd area, it offers one of the most extensive and diverse selections of yarns you’ll find anywhere in the world.

My Pops.  He worked in Montreal as The Head Buyer for Hudson Bay 1960-1964 , My Brother and i were both Born there. Then we moved back to Vancouver , where my Parents Meet.  He had his own Business from 1964 till 1984, he was a manufacturer agent . He sold  everything  and anything   Our garage was always full of samples.  made for great street sales .
​Then he came aboard the Knit And Stitch Shoppe Train. Which  he loved .
He would transfer wool to all of the 4 stores Daily  And where ever i was i could here him coming in to the mall.  So Cute...I love him soooo Much He was Half of my Rock My mom was the other Half of my Rock....He spent his Life teaching me about Business .
